Michael Franco

Michael graduated from The University of Melbourne Medical School in 2001 before practicing at Austin Health, Monash Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute. He completed his training with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) in both Medical Oncology and Palliative Medicine in 2008 and returned to Monash Health as a Full Time Staff Specialist working as both a Medical Oncologist and Palliative Medicine Physician. In addition, Michael is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash and Melbourne Universities and has held positions with the Australian Medical Council, Australian Lung Cancer Trials Group, Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria, Victorian Cooperative Oncology Group and the RACP. He has particular interests in teaching, breast, colorectal and lung cancer. His other interests include being bossed around by his two daughters and being far too interested in good food, drink and sports of all description.
